Club History

Established in 1964 as a seasonal club at a time when the town had only an outdoor pool.

The Club now operates all year round providing activities covering a wide range of disciplines within the sport of swimming. We have over 300 members from age five to 85 benefitting and achieving at the club in competitive swimming, water polo and synchronised swimming; competing at local, county, regional and national level.

Faversham Swimming Club believes in its members and invests in its young adults; often providing training opportunities enabling them to become swimming teachers and coaches, further adding to the important ethos and diversity of the club.

Faversham Swimming Club is run solely by volunteers and offers a fantastic range of swimming based activities. As a club, we offer fantastic opportunities and experiences for all our members, and is recognised as an excellent sporting asset within Faversham and its surrounding area.
